Monty Bojangles Chocolatey Calzone
Ingredients
100g double cream
100g Monty Bojangles Choccy Scoffy truffles (plus a few extra for stuffing)
Pizza dough
Method
Make the Ganache:
- Heat the cream in a small saucepan until it just reaches scalding point
- Pour the hot cream over 100g of truffles in a heatproof bowl. Let it sit for a minute, then stir until smooth and glossy. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Preheat your oven
- Divide the pizza dough into portions and flatten each into an even round disk – not too thin, or they might burst in the oven.
- Spread a spoonful of ganache in the centre of each disk, then add an extra truffle or two on top.
- Fold the dough over the filling to create a pocket, and press the edges firmly to seal, ensuring there are no holes.
- Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden and cooked through.
