We love to put a positive spin on things at Monty Bojangles, so when warmer days make our truffles a little more gooey than usual, we think the indulgent possibilities are endless. Why not try some of our fabulous recipes to spread the Monty magic even further!

Brown butter truffle cookies
Dangerously delicious and not likely to last long - try making these brown butter truffle cookies!

Ingredients
- 115g butter
- 150g brown sugar
- 100g white sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tbsp vanilla
- 250g plain flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1tsp salt
- As many Monty Bojangles chocolatey truffles as your heart desires (the more the merrier!)
- Sea salt for topping
Method
- Brown the butter on low heat until golden, then remove from heat.
- Mix in sugars until combined.
- Add egg, egg yolk & vanilla.
- Stir in dry ingredients (don’t overmix).
- Fold in your chopped truffles.
- Scoop into balls, and don’t forget to add extra truffles on top!
- Chill in the fridge for 30 mins minimum.
- Bake at 350°F / 180°C for 11–12 mins.
- Finish with flaky sea salt and enjoy!
Chocolatey truffle pancake batter
The ultimate chocolate pancake recipe! Add Monty Bojangles chocolatey truffles to your pancake recipe for the ultimate chocolatey breakfast treat.

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 5tbsp milk
- 150g plain flour
- 2 tbsp caster sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 100g of Monty Bojangles truffles (any flavour you wish)
Method
- Whisk together the eggs and milk.
- Place the plain flour, caster sugar and salt in a separate, large bowl and make a well in the centre.
- Pour in the milk mixture and whisk until smooth.
- Stir in the Monty Bojangles truffles, then cook the mixture a spoonful at a time, in a lightly greased non-stick pan, for 1-2 minutes on each side until puffy and golden.
- Serve hot with ice cream and syrup or honey (and extra truffles!)
Chocolate orange truffle cupcakes
Perfect for hosting and sharing with friends, these chocolate orange truffle cupcakes are a guaranteed crowd-pleaser!

Ingredients (makes 10)
For the cupcakes
- 125g butter or baking margarine (softened)
- 125g light brown sugar
- 2 large free-range eggs
- 100g plain flour
- 30g cocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 large orange – zest and 45ml juice
- 30g soured cream (or buttermilk/plain yoghurt)
- 10 Monty Bojangles Choccy Scoffy truffles
For the buttercream
- 160g butter (softened)
- 240g icing sugar
- 40g cocoa powder
- 45ml fresh orange juice
- 4 Monty Bojangles Choccy Scoffy truffles
For decoration
- 10 Monty Bojangles Choccy Scoffy truffles
- Grated dark chocolate
Method
- Line a cupcake tin with 10 cases and preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F.
- Unwrap 10 Choccy Scoffy truffles and cut each into 5 pieces (keep each truffle's pieces together).
- Beat the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
- Stir in orange zest, juice and soured cream.
- Sift in flour, cocoa, and baking powder, then gently fold until combined.
- Divide the batter evenly between cases (about halfway up).
- Press one set of truffle pieces into each cupcake.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes, until rise and springy. Cool completely.
Make the buttercream
- Beat butter until smooth.
- Add half the icing sugar, mix, then add orange juice.
- Add remaining icing sugar and cocoa powder and beat until fluffy.
- Melt 4 truffles gently, stir smoothly and beat into buttercream.
Decorate
- Pipe buttercream onto each cupcake.
- Top with a whole Choccy Scoffy truffle.
- Sprinkle grated dark chocolate for a finishing flourish.
