Great Taste Awards
The Great Taste Awards take place every year – over 500 judges gather to award deserving products one, two or three stars. The awards are highly competitive, with over 12,000 entries, only about 30% of these receive awards. We were absolutely delighted to receive awards on six of our delectable truffle flavours at this years’ awards.Read on to find out what the Great Taste judges thought of the different truffle flavour fusions…

“A really lovely looking truffle, dusted in rich cocoa. Deep chocolate ganache with an unexpected hint of malt which the judges really liked – a lot. We’d happily scoff a box of these with little break.”

Judges’ comments:
Excellent texture with a silky, velvety finish. Lingering, lasting taste which judges enjoyed. Good hazelnut flavour which is not overpowering. Judges described these truffles as “adult nutella”.

Ruby Fruit Sunday – Awarded 1 Star
Judges’ comments:
“These bite-sized truffles are evenly formed and well-coated with dark cocoa powder. The flavours of the fruity raspberry and dark chocolate are well-balanced. The eat is smooth and we like the occasional biscuitty crunch. They are very moreish.”

“Visually very appealing bites of chocolate! The truffle itself is intensely rich, silky and creamy, using top quality chocolate. Biting in, there’s a gorgeous and unexpected crunch from the macaroon drops – the amaretti flavour is sublime and well balanced.”
